Drive to Vernurio and park at Oberöberst. The ascent follows trail no. 8 to the Hahnenkammhütte hut, continuing along trail no. 21 and then off-trail to the panoramic summit. Beautiful panoramic views of Meran/Merano and the Etschtal valley. The descent forms a circular route via the Obisellalm hutand trail no. 5 back to the parking area.

Walking time: approx. 6 h (there & back) | Difference in altitude: 1,100 m

The hike will be in German and Italian.
