A new form of Christmas decoration, that’s what inhabitants of Lana made up for Christmas time.
Creative people always have got new ideas. Numerous villages and towns in South Tyrol boast a historic centre, which alone are worth to be visited. And Christmas decorations only highlight the beauty of the place itself in Christmas time.
Lana does not offer special historic arcades or piazzas in the village. Anyway, inhabitants of Lana made up a special light concept, the Advent lights, highlighting special historic spots of the village, which are also of architectonic beauty.
Hewrad Dunkel is the name of the artist who mapped the illumination concept for Lana. Residences, inner courtyards and special constructions such as Castel Braunschweig are highlighted with different light effects. Romantic, isn’t it?
