Guided hiking tour "Rotwandhütte"

From Lake Carezza at the Hotel Savoy car park, we start off on a gentle ascent through meadows and larch forest past the various alpine huts in the direction of the Rotwand Hut. There we take a short break. Then we hike back, partly level, along the Masarésteig trail towards the "Paoloniahütte". Halfway you come across the impressive bronze eagle (3 m high) with a beautiful view of the Fass and Egg valleys. The descent can be made by chairlift or on foot.

Metres in altitude: approx. 520 m in ascent and 100 m in descent if you use the chairlift.
Walking time: approx. 4 hours
