Merano and surroundings

Fresh Alpine air meets Mediterranean atmosphere and pleasant climate in the spa town of Merano, a fascinating place to be.

Merano and surroundings is a highly diversified region: on the one hand it is characterised by the mountains of the Gruppo di Tessa with its Alpine flora and fauna, on the other hand it boasts a mild climate and Mediterranean vegetation with palm and lemon trees.
Also rich green pastures, vineyards and fruit orchards make the oh-so sunny hamlets and villages such as Lagundo, Parcines or Marlengo so special. Of course this area also boasts several sights and interesting events, some pretty churches, chapels, castles and manors as well as numerous museums, promising unforgettable holidays in a unique spot of land at the bottom of majestic mountains.
