The South Tyrolean cuisine will be an experience for your palate!

The unique mix of Mediterranean and Tyrolean cuisine makes every dish in South Tyrol a culinary delight. And if served with one of the high-quality wines it is even more tasteful. Moreover there are numerous events focusing on the cuisine in Merano and surroundings, such as the Merano WineFestival & Culinaria, gastronomic weeks, apple festivals and much more.

What we particularly recommend is a is a Törggele evening in the period of time between October and mid November. Local taverns, called “Buschenschänke”, offer traditional cuisine and of course roasted chestnuts and new wine. An adventure not only for your palate!
