Moreover there are numerous events focusing on the cuisine in Merano and surroundings, such as the Merano WineFestival & Culinaria, gastronomic weeks, apple festivals and much more.
What we particularly recommend is a typical Törggele evening in the period from October to mid-November. Local taverns, called "Buschenschänke", offer traditional cuisine, roasted chestnuts and new wine. An adventure not only for your palate!
