Dumplings in all variations are a typical local delicacy in South Tyrol.
Dumplings are a popular starter served in farm inns. No matter if spinach, beetroot or cheese dumplings, all of them are served with grated Parmesan and melted butter, sometimes also with a touch of chives on the top.
On the typical meat platter at the Törggelen, bread dumplings are served which correspond perfectly with sauerkraut and salted meat.
