Naturno and its surrounding offer ideal conditions for the production of excellent wines. The Riesling - among others one of the best white wine grape - matures very late and can be found mostly in higher areas, as for example, like Naturno.

In order to taste this noble wine, the Naturno Riesling Days were launched for the first time in 2005.

An international jury of experts tastes and evaluates the Rieslings from a specific vintage in a blind tasting. The awards ceremony for Italy’s best Rieslings and the presentation of prizes to the regional winners will then take place in early November as part of the Merano WineFestival at the Kurhaus in Merano.
