Merano Trail - An adventure by bicycle around Merano:
“MeranoTrail” is a completely independent adventure that can be mastered by bike. The concept is simple: you log in, receive a route to upload to your GPS device, set off on your bike and follow the route to your destination. Every participant can decide oneselfs speed and where to eat and sleep. While some participants prefer to stop rarely and cycle (even at night), others prefer to enjoy the countryside with their friends and have fun, try the local cuisine and stay in comfortable accommodations. There is no predefined time limit and the competition does not take place against other participants. At "MeranoTrail” you only compete against yourself. The „official“ group start of all participants will take place in the city center of Merano on the 25th of May 2019. Since this is a circuit, the start and finish points are the same. The route runs through the entire Merano basin and is characterized by numerous inclines and steep passages. It leads through picturesque villages, past remote farms and sunny willows, through apple meadows and vineyards.
