A giant swing and 13 courses await you high above the Lake Vernago reservoir in the Ötzi High Ropes Park

In the Val Senales valley, above Lake Vernago, which can be explored on the beautiful 'Seerundweg', another adventurous highlight awaits you next to the site where Ötzi the glacier mummy was found. The Ötzi High Ropes Park, with 13 courses at heights of up to 30 metres and a total of 180 platforms, is located above an impressive gorge and promises fun and thrills for children, teenagers and adults alike.
Each course offers between six (easy) and 24 (challenging) stations – four courses are designed especially for children. Highlights include the 50-metre-long Flying Foxes and the zipline course.
But that's not all: for the truly brave, there is the giant swing. With a drop height of 10 metres, it swings directly over the gorge and is definitely not for the faint-hearted. The Ötzi High Ropes Park is equipped with a modern safety system, and highly trained guides are on hand to offer advice and assistance. And if you wish, you can round off your adventurous day by relaxing at the large barbecue area.
The high ropes course is located at the end of Lake Vernago, there is a car park right next to it. It is also easily accessible by public transport: take bus 261 from Naturno and get off at the 'Marcheggtal' stop, which is right next to the Ötzi High Ropes Park.

More information
The Oetzi High-Rope Park stays open every year from May to early November. In case of bad weather, opening hours may vary, or the park may close for safety reasons.
Season start 2026 at the beginning of May.
