The Nature & Adventure Path in Marlengo

Above the Marlengo Waalweg Path, next to the Waldschenke tavern, the access to the”Natur- and Erlebnisweg Marling” path is located. A squirrel is the mascot of the path and leads you through 26 stations. We decide to walk the entire circular route, alternative there is a short and pram-friendly version.

Soon we reach a chart where the stations are clearly shown. Before we start, we look back and enjoy the view on Merano and the behind Monte Ivigna mountain. The kids already have reached the near rope course which for sure is one of the highlights of the path. It offers challenges for children of all ages and it is also quite suited for adults. The very young visitors can enjoy the wooden hut.

Now the path proceeds slightly uphill. The single stations are located close together, no boredom arises. Again and again there are boards with interesting information about fauna and flora and some rest stations invite to take a break.

After about one hour we reach our starting point again and decide to make a further walk along the below situated Marlengo Waalweg Path to extend our excursion for a while.
