Following the LanaLive Culture Festival, the next top-class event is already coming up in June: this one focuses exclusively on jazz music. For over 10 years, Lana meets Jazz has been organised by the Sweet Alps cultural association under the artistic direction of Helga Plankensteiner and Michael Lösch.

Over five days, national and international musicians perform classic swing and contemporary jazz at various venues in Lana: Bistros and cafés become jazz locations, the Galanthus garden centre stays open later in the evenings for the event, and public spaces such as the town hall square and the pedestrian zone are transformed into concert stages.

Young musicians and new talent are the focus; greats such as Gianluigi Trovesi, Gary Bartz and Uri Caine have already performed here.
