28 km of best-prepared pistes are waiting for winter sportspersons in the Racines-Giovo Skiing Area. The area is located in the Wipptal valley, but is easily and shortly accessible via the Passo Giovo mountain pass in the Val Passiria valley. The Val Passiria ski shuttle brings the guests from San Leonardo directly to the Plan Skiing Area, located in the Val Passiria valley or to the Jaufenhaus in the Racines-Giovo Ski Region and connects the Val Passiria valley with the Wipptal valley.
Racines-Giovo is a modern, snow-secure skiing area and awaits skiers among others with a slalom slope with timekeeping and snowboarders, who can enjoy the Racines Snowpark at the Enzianlift. The Alta Valle Isarco Ski Pass is valid here, comprising the three skiing areas Racines-Giovo, Monte Cavallo and Ladurns. The area offers also a 5 km long sledge run as well as the Platschjoch cross country ski track.

The times shown correspond to those of the Racines Cable Car: It operates daily along with the other lifts from early December to mid-April.
Dates and opening times may vary depending on snow and weather conditions!
