Mother earth from its most beautiful side, that’s what the nature parks of Merano and surroundings offer. The Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park is the largest of its kind in South Tyrol and provides lasting natural impressions. This park includes the localities of Senales, Naturno, Parcines, Lagundo, Tirolo, Rifiano, S. Martino and Moso in Passiria.
The Stelvio National Park, however, represents the largest historic protected area of Italy and features alpine pastures, rough peaks, beautiful mountain rivers and in general a varied flora and fauna.
