The village of Sant’Orsola (also known as Passo) is located at 682 m asl, only a stone’s throw away from the Monte Cervina cable car.

Sant’Orsola is one of the seven localities which are part of the municipality of San Leonardo in Passiria. This jewel in the mountains of the Val Passiria has got some 100 inhabitants and is located at 682 m asl above Sorgente and Saltusio. The S. Orsola parish church has been constructed in the 16th century and rebuilt in 1895. The new bell of the church of Bartolomeo Chiappani was dated 1905.

A few-minutes’ car drive takes you to the lower terminus of the Monte Cervina funicular in Saltusio, taking you into the hiking paradise at the Monte Cervina, where a you will be spoilt for choice regarding hiking possibilities and trails.
